This condition may be accompanied by compression of the cranial nerves, impaired cerebrospinal fluid circulation, and the development of neurological symptoms of varying severity. Depending on the localization, temporal, ethmoidal, and sphenoidal variants of the disease are distinguished, with the temporal form being the most common.<\/p>\n<div id=\"ez-toc-container\" the early 19th century by the French surgeon Jean Louis Petit.
