Lacrimo-Auriculo-Dento-Digital Syndrome (LADD) is a rare genetic disorder characterized by abnormalities in the development of the lacrimal glands, ears, teeth, and limbs. The disorder is caused by mutations in the EFTUD2 gene, which leads to impaired development of the nervous system, as well as systemic abnormalities affecting several organs and tissues. It is noted that the manifestations of LADD syndrome can vary among patients, but typical features include insufficient tear production, abnormalities of the auricle, insufficient development of teeth, and changes in the structure of the fingers.<\/p>\n
