Eosinophilic fasciitis (EF) is a rare disease characterized by inflammation of the connective tissue that affects the fascia that envelops muscles. The characteristic feature of this disease is the presence of eosinophils, a type of white blood cell, in the affected tissue. Eosinophilic fasciitis is preceded by swelling, thickening of the skin, and limited mobility, which can lead to significant functional impairment and a deterioration in the quality of life of patients. The disease most often occurs in young and middle-aged people, and its nature remains not fully understood, which complicates diagnosis and the choice of treatment methods.<\/p>\n
